Practice Session For Saturday May 28th. 9:30 eastern
Practice For Saturday May 28th will be oriented for a 12 on 12 rush match. The maps are to be determined, and in all honesty will probably be played on random rotation. The purpose of this practice session is to try out a 3 squad structure with two squads (Alpha and Bravo) on the same communication line, and Charlie company on its own 4 line communication. Charlie Squads role will be discussed over other forms of communication via X-Box Live, or Text. Considering on the meeting minutes I had posted that Practice is to be handled as if it were a competition, and that fact that this is a holiday weekend, I understand if members arent able to make it to this practice session due to short notice. I will mention now though that there is a practice session scheduled for the next weekend also. Also to be on Saturday.
- MATCH TYPE 12 on 12 Rush
- Squad Leaders Alpha Squad=Steelerfan, Bravo Squad=Mercury, Charlie Squad=TBD
- Maps Random Rotation
- Purpose To try new strategies. And to Practice...PATIENCE!!
- TIME May 28th, at 9:30 eastern. If you can be on, but slightly later, let us know.
So if you are avaliable, post. There are 9 spots open to be decided upon.

Coming Soon. Meeting Minutes and Bullet Points.
Something new that is part of the restructure will be a posting of the minutes/bullet points from every staff meeting. While the frequency varies, it averages about once every two weeks that the captains get together and hold a meeting of AMG bussiness. Be it concerning an upcoming match, strategy, roster, new ideas every meeting we have shall have its minutes posted so the members that utilize this site can keep up to date on current AMG news. Now, if you have something you would like brought up during these meetings and disscussed, contact at least one of the captains and bring forth your suggestion or even gripe. You can do so via e-mail, or X-box Live. I ask that you not post on the site with such for a couple of reasons. For One, some of our competitors check out this site so any tactical suggestion can be read by them also. Secondly, consider this a sort of Open door policy, where you can come to us in confidence and we will discuss any members concerns without names attached if such is desired. The Next AMG Captain meeting is to take place Friday of this week May 20th 2011.

Squad Leader Position Sign Up.
We are taking names for those whom are interested in trying out for the position of Squad Leader. Try-outs consist of leading the 3 captains in a series of private Squad Rush Matches, and then leading a squad in a series of regular rush matches. During the Squad Rush matches, the Squad leader must set up there own strategy and then execute it. Things to consider are each members weakness, strengths, and what classes to run. Prior to the regular Rush Matches, the squad leader will be given specific plans and objectives. During the Regular Rush Matches, the Squad leader it to demonstrate execution of the plans, ability to maintain composure, and to overcome obstacles with on the fly decision making. After the try outs performance will be evaluated by several members (Not just neccessarily captains).
Squad Leaders will be responsible for there Squad of course. Along with input and execution of plans. There will be flexability in the squad classes, but these classes will need to be considered to meet the objective at hand. To anyone who is interested, post your nomination on this thread. Any questions...Post those also.

After the Renegade Battle, lets focus on Restructure.
While the term "Restructure" with most companies means people becoming unemployed, layed-off, promoted or demoted, that is NOT the case here. After the battle set for this weekend, I would like to focus on defining the positions of Captains, and Squad Leaders. Then start the proccess of posting the requirements and taking volunteers for Squad Leaders. While there will be a series of Try-Outs, the details are still being worked out. Also, lets try to implement some of the ideas that we have thought of. We should try diffrent recomendations and see what works, and what doesnt.
Working on the AMG Mission Statement.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am currently penning a Mission Statement for AMG. ShadowMosez, Grendel, and Steelerfan all brought up the point that AMG should have a Mission Statement that explains exactly what we are, and what we mean to do. Its in progress, I'll get it to the prior mentioned members so it can be added to the site upon its completion.

Upcoming Battle. Renegade Vs AMG. Role call and Practice.
Okay everyone, as we know we have another match against the Renegades. While it is not Echo company, lets practice, strategize and play like it is them were going up against. Remember never take the opposition lightly. Its always best to be over prepared.
- PRACTICE Friday night at 10:00 Eastern time. May 13th (Friday the 13th!!)
- Squad Leaders Steelerfan and Mercury. Steelerfan leads Alpha, Mercury leads Bravo
This is whats for certain so far on the practice. If your avaliable for practice and use this site, drop us a line via posting to let us know.
While I may be a bit behind on this at the moment, If your Unavaliable for the match Saturday, let us know. Dont Forget, just because you are avaliable doesnt mean you will get to join in. Not because we dont like you, but because we only have 7 spots avaliable. I say we plan to run with 8 just incase they muster up another person. At worst, we will have to have someone step out for this one. Better to be prepared than to be caught with our pants down. We will post the final roster shortly.

Clan Match Results (against Warrior Nation) - 5/7/11
First map: Arica Harbor - WIN (both attacking & defending)
Second map: Cold War - TIE (won attacking, lost defending)
Final map: Valparaiso - WIN (both attacking & defending)
The match resulted in a WIN.
My thanks to all of the guys that participated in this match (BALDJUAN, ShadowMosez, Taters, Soft Machine, Durty, Twistid, and Maximum Gunner. Thanks to Mercury, too, for filling in at the last minute) You guys were awesome and took orders really well. I appreciate all the effort and hard work you put in tonight. The practice and teamwork really made a big difference and we need to keep that momentum going.
Warrior Nation, you guys were great, too. You gave us a competitive match that was both fun and challenging. I know that you had to piece a squad together so I really appreciate you remaining up for the challenge. It was an awesome match and I hope we can play you guys again in the future.
**ON A SIDE NOTE - THIS APPLIES TO EVERYONE - The three captains (myself, Shadow, and Mercury) have decided to make it a new rule that if you agree to play in a clan match, you MUST be on at least 30 minutes prior to the starting time. This was an issue tonight and from now on, if you aren't on at least 30 minutes before the match starts, we have the right to replace you. I don't want to piss anyone off but if you agree to play, you need to show up on time. If you aren't sure if you can play, PLEASE don't agree to be in the match.**

Adding Structure to AMG and creating some Positions.
Any successfull orginzation needs structure. Be it a Military unit, large corporation, or a sports team, all of these have a structure that promote success and growth. Without it, failure is immenent. Some groups will manage to last longer than others, but in the end it all comes down to the same result. AMG is growing, while it has been at a controlled pace, we are growing. So to succedd as a team of Ass-kicking gamers it only makes sense to expand our structure. ShadowMosez, Steelerfan, and myself are listed as team captains. At the time of this posting, Captain equals Squad leader. This is something I would like to change. Believe it or not a lot of time and effort goes into what we as captains do and at times balancing out AMG requirements and Life is difficult. So what I propose is to give each Captain duties unique to there abilities and intrests, and create the rank of Squad Leader. While Captians would still have the option of Leading a squad if they desire this would give other members the oppurtunity to accept the challenge of leading 3 others into battle. Think of squad leaders as the NCOs, or if your not familar with the term NCO think the Ol' sarge from war movies. So, what does everyone think? Let me know.
Giving Credit Where Credit is Due!!
Friday night Mercury's squad practiced against a squad consisting of four other AMG members for the KNF vs AMG Squad Rush battle. During this practice I wittnessed some of the best (If not the best) display of team-work that has came out of AMG. Steelerfan, ShadowMosez, BaldJuan and Johnny Rotten came together and formed a squad to be reconned with. They demonstrated orginization, quick response/reaction, and thoughtfull execution. In all honesty (No I am not ass kissing) from what was seen Friday, I feel confident to say they could of taken on and beat the best of them. If these members wish to play in a squad together during any match I have no objections what so ever. It was truly impressive and wished everyone could of been there to see it.
SECRET MATCH REVEALED
**This is a match against the Renegades, but it isn't going to be against the Echo Company (which is who we normally play). This match will include members from the Alpha thru Delta Companies. We can't promise anyone a spot yet as we aren't sure how many people (8 or 12) will be playing. Will update when we have more details.**

Saturday Night AMG vs KNF results.
The Match set for April 30th, Saturday night, against the KNF clan will have to be rescheduled. This is due to complications in getting the match to start. For over an hour, several players tried to host and get the match started, but to no avail. The KNF clan rep, JettyYeti and I came to the agreement that it would be best to reschedule the match. They will contact us via through X-box Live with possible dates and we will procced from there. Thank you everyone who attended, I appreciate your patience. I look at this as an oppurtunity to get more practice in (We need it) so that when we do meet KNF on the Battlefield we can truly represent AMG as a powerhouse.
