Now that almost everyone has had time to get experience under there belt with Battlefield 3, and the rumored private servers or at least the ability to hold a private match are on the near horizon; it is time to start thinking of Clan/Team Matches.
Well, before I get a head of myself we have a lot of ground to cover prior to setting up our first match. Several subjects need discussed, and plans need drawn out.
First order of bussiness would be to get a concesuss withing AMG concerning what game type should be are primary focus. (This will not exclude other game types, but sets the intial tone for our Battlefield 3 Competitions)
I may be wrong, but it seems that the majority of AMG is comfortable with Conquest as the primary focus. If anyone feels otherwise, now is the time to speak up. Conquest offers more flexability in terms of play styles and planning squads based on offensive or defensive charectoristics of the member, allowing each member the ability to shine and contribute by doing what they do best. Now this doesnt mean we can loose discipline, if anything we must tighten up our leed, command, and follow structure.
Practice is to be taken more seriously, and if you cant make the required practice prior to a competition then the chances of actually partaking in the match fall greatly. This doesnt mean we wont try to work around some schedules, but practice will become a required part of competition.
I want AMG to rise through the ranks on Battlefield 3. Lets set out to topple the other clans. Remember, Team Work, Discipline, Patience, Percision.
Its time for the Captains to start thinking ahead. So, of course this means there will be a meeting in the next 2 weeks.
Sincerely
AMG Mercury
