  1. A draw? So what happened? What worked and what didn't.

  2. THe teamwork still wasnt there.... On both sides we had our highs and lows... We did good holding them off at times and others it was like we wont even playin.... then attacking we just couldnt all be there at the same time.... so all in all the teamwork was alittle lacking

  3. On De, what did they use that worked? Armor? Anchors? Flank rushes or was it just a break down in team work? If it was the last one, where exactly was the break down; communication or just people not where they were needed?

  4. Damn... were these the same guys we were destroying the night before? Wish I would have been there with you guys... I know AMG is all about having fun and the winning is nice, but maybe we should consider doing a little practicing here and there. While it is hard to get everyone online at once I am sure it can happen where we get enough to run a few scrimmages and work on communication & attack/defending strategies.

  5. No worries peeps, you didnt lose and shows you gave good war. I cant comment on team orders as I am not that good on them but I think team tactics is where we slightly fall down. We need to try to find where we gel best on and who is stronger at what. I do like that AMG do learn from other matches and that the clan moves forward every time. So benchmarks are key here, we use statsverse to gather these.

  6. every tiime i play with u guys u seem to not run engineers with rpgs instead assualt with c4 to destroy tanks. u need to run tracers and rpgs with secondary explosives and hit em hard. ur also a lil weak with running tanks. this is just some feedback i have playing against u guys. hope it helps. ill be playing most of this week so i can give u guys good competition and give u some tips on quickly destroying tanks seeming the renegades primary class is engineers and thts y we r proficient in runnning and destroying tanks. hope this helps.

  7. Medez has some good points. Also, don't underestimate a mixed sqd of engineers, half RPGs half mines. All good ideas. I'm sure well figure something out.

  8. Well to say the least I'm disappointed about our match on Saturday. We had some really good things happen and then we had some REALLY BAD things happen, too. I'm not trying to take anything away from the BUG clan but we SHOULD have killed those guys. We are such a better team than the way we played. First off I want to say good job to Corey's squad for lighting a lot of the MCOM'S when we were attacking. That was also where one of our biggest problems was. For example, BALDJUAN would set the MCOM and he would be the only one even near the station. Then he would get killed and there would be nobody there to stop them from disarming it. I know that we can't have eyes on the stations at ALL times, but we should have at least a couple of players per squad with eyes on it. I think that our biggest problem (and I blame myself for this also) was communication between the squads. We would start off strong with communication and then as the match went on we resorted back to our run and gun tatics which proved very difficult. We need to practice running as a team instead of running in our individual squads. And as far as defending, we need to have more patience. I'm just as guilty as everyone else when it comes to this. I want to go out and find the enemy too, but when we only have one MCOM left, they HAVE to come to us, they don't have a choice. We need to get into good defensive positions and dig in and have eyes on the boxes, outside of the few people that might be blowing up tanks, choppers, etc. We also had problems with extra noise. When shit hits the fan we don't need a bunch of laughing and moaning in the mic for no reason. When it gets crazy we need to be that much more disciplined and cut out the chatter. I don't want anyone to think that I'm being an ass or anything but these are some things that went wrong and were big reasons why we had a draw instead of win.

  9. Mendez and Grendel, those are definitely good points but we really didn't have major issues with the tanks this time around. We destroyed them pretty quickly. Our classes weren't too much of a problem; it was mainly a case of poor communication and lack of patience. These are all things that we need to work on for sure. I definitely appreciate the feedback and welcome any other comments/suggestions regarding ways for us to win these matches & improve our team.

  10. Well for more eyes on comms, anchors might work. Drop an anchor and u not only have a spawn near the comm for assault but to also defend once it's armed. For keeping people in line, team work wise. Honestly it comes down to people understanding that individual scores and tags don't really matter during a match game. It's hard to do and I for one can understand wanting the ace pin, but as an anchor, I also know that a 300 point round is fine with me as long as my team rolls through the objectives.

  11. One thing that I have always practiced is noticing who on my squad is still alive. This is especially important when rushing. If you notice that you're the last cat alive in your squad and you're up near the M-COM just find a quick place to hide and let your guys spawn on you. And if you can get behind their spawn or some where near the M-COM station and have a spawn whore set up (snipers are great for this if it is in a location that allows him to drop mortars on the M-COM and they can also toss motion sensors around so you know when there are enemies around you) this will help when keeping eyes on the M-COM as the charge is planted and if 3 of you die you still have someone near the area that you can spawn on so you don't have to risk getting killed on the way back.

    Just an idea...

  12. I think there are only a few points we actually need to work on. Once again, we have the skill, we have the minds, but we lack patience, and to a degree discipline (We have made leaps and bounds improvement, but with a little more work.) Steeler mentioned that Baldjuan was a beast at setting M-com stations...He was. Period..No doubt, but we didnt have the man power to back him up. He has got some mystical way of getting through enemies and setting charges. The only problem is, we dont go in with him as a team. Patience is key. If we were there to let him sneek in, and then rush in once its set to secure it...Bam.. Up until the last game, they were reactive, not proactive. Had we taken advantage of that fully..it would of been a straight up slaughter. Our defense was strong the first half...then we got frustrated and each started taking matters into our own hands mostly..Not everyone, but close to it. Which only added to the frustration. That was our defeat...Frustration. Cant let it get the best of us. I've noticed this against our last two opponents.

  13. To continue with what I mentioned earlier. We really do need to be patient and work as a WHOLE team. For example..Baldjaun..I would of been so frustrated if I were you. Setting the M-com stations, only to have them diffused almost everytime. It would of drove me through the roof. I couldnt even really spawn, let alone sneak through enemies and set charges. To make matter worse, I feel that they really did cheat by spying on us the night before. I dont dig that at all. Infact I think that is pretty low. We will never plan a match without knowing the maps played either. That did not help. All of the we played that night are ones we hardly play at all. While that is little of an excuse..Practicing and preparing does make a diffrence. Harvest day was as close to practice as we had got, even then they knew exactly what to expect because they spied on us the day prior.

  14. While we are about Fun..When the competition starts...Its about winning. This is our reputation. Everyone that wears the AMG in there title depends upon not just themselves but every clan mate to uphold the reputation of AMG. We dont want people to know us as a bunch of whatevers..or half-assers....or deadbeats...No. I want people to say...HOLY SHIT I just entered a random match and saw the AMG boys...I want people to feel a sense of accomplishment if they beat us, and to feel that they walked away beaten bad...when we beat them. This tie stuff doesnt do that. It says..yeah, were just as good as blahblahblah...Nope. Thats not what I want AMG to be about.
