First map: Arica Harbor - WIN (both attacking & defending)
Second map: Cold War - TIE (won attacking, lost defending)
Final map: Valparaiso - WIN (both attacking & defending)
The match resulted in a WIN.
My thanks to all of the guys that participated in this match (BALDJUAN, ShadowMosez, Taters, Soft Machine, Durty, Twistid, and Maximum Gunner. Thanks to Mercury, too, for filling in at the last minute) You guys were awesome and took orders really well. I appreciate all the effort and hard work you put in tonight. The practice and teamwork really made a big difference and we need to keep that momentum going.
Warrior Nation, you guys were great, too. You gave us a competitive match that was both fun and challenging. I know that you had to piece a squad together so I really appreciate you remaining up for the challenge. It was an awesome match and I hope we can play you guys again in the future.
**ON A SIDE NOTE - THIS APPLIES TO EVERYONE - The three captains (myself, Shadow, and Mercury) have decided to make it a new rule that if you agree to play in a clan match, you MUST be on at least 30 minutes prior to the starting time. This was an issue tonight and from now on, if you aren't on at least 30 minutes before the match starts, we have the right to replace you. I don't want to piss anyone off but if you agree to play, you need to show up on time. If you aren't sure if you can play, PLEASE don't agree to be in the match.**
Helllllll Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
ReplyDeleteCool girls. Well done u all.

helllll yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
ReplyDeleteFinally I have a free moment to post on the site. Sorry for it taking so long, BUT AWESOME JOB CREW!!! I commend everyone involved in the battle. Good Show! I also want to thank everyone for the practice the night prior. Even though I was not involved in the battle until literally the last minute or two, I was kept up to date on what was happening. A lot of positive comments from my informant, and from the squad leaders and players afterwards. Now This is AMG. Team Work, Strategy, Determination, and VICTORY! I'm proud of everyone. Good Job! Lets do a repeat this upcoming weekend against the Renegades
ReplyDeleteHey this is BushyBrowz the Battle Ops captain from Warrior Nation and I want to congratz you guys on a win. As we can see we have lost to learn in the game of rush as competitiveness goes. But you guys were awesome and I learned a lot from our matches together! We had only played squad rush against a one other clan quite a few times and going from 4 to 8v8 is a big difference. I hope that we can play again soon. Also I know that I talked to Shadow, Mercury, and Steelerfan and was hoping if sometime this weekend I played with you guys and learned some pointers on how to run a 8v8. I am still trying to build a competitive based team from our section and I am in need of all the help I can get.
ReplyDeleteBut still congratz on a great win and I hope we can do it again some time real soon!
Hello BushyBrowz, and welcome to the AMG site. Going from one format to another can be quite a challenge, no denying that. One of the biggest challenges to having an 8 on 8 or more match is communication. Here are my reccomendations, and I hope others chime in and drop of few pointers also.
ReplyDeleteAs I mentioned, Communication. With 8 the main challenge is making sure everyone keeps the airwaves clear of unneccassary chatter. You have to eliminate The Frustrated Screams and Rants, All non-relevant banter (Like people talking about moms cookies, crapping animals...yada yada yada and so on). Important intel/info only. Of course we all from time to time get carried away with it also, but Nip it when it starts. Another thing that will help is getting squads together that "Jive", "Meld", "Are in Sync". Just putting a group of really good players together doesnt mean you will have a good team. Group Cohesion is an important and often over looked aspect of building a team. Once you cut out the noise, find a couple of good squads (Find Squad Leaders, people responsible/incharge of the squad), then start working on strategy. There is a lot more involved, but these are good basics to start building on. AMG is still going through the building/learning proccess also and we are making tweaks and changes on a regular basis to build the best team we can. It doesnt happen over night, and it wont please everyone. Just depends on how bad you want to build a winning team. AMG wants to be about fun, and competition, which it can be difficult to achieve both for some members. If your like me, winning is fun, loosing is not. But for others, winning isnt everything, its the experience thats fun.
BushyBrowz, thanks for the nice words. You guys were still really good; you just needed some work in a few areas. I think Mercury touched on most of what you guys could work on. Another thing that I would recommend is having a battle strategy and sticking to it. With rush it's really easy to run around like a bunch of retards with guns and not get much accomplished. LOL We used to be those retards with no organization, communication, or team work. We still have a lot to work on as a clan too. Our shit is FAR from perfect. Everything that Mercury said in the above post are things that we are still working on. Anytime you want to play, hit any three of us (myself, Shadow, or Mercury) up with a message. Hell, we're always looking for some good practice and playing against a real team is definitely a plus. Thanks again for a good match. We'll definitely have to do that again in the future.
