CLAN LOYALTY & MATCHES
I want to make sure that all members know that just because you're part of AMG doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be picked for matches. (especially if you are an inactive member) Even though things have been slow, we still expect all members to check in (and hopefully join our games) whenever possible. When private servers do come out, we will choose members based on how loyal they have been, even during this slow time. I feel that the lack of competitive matches has caused some members to lose interest. That is understandable BUT if you are in this clan solely for the purpose of playing in private matches, you are in the wrong clan. I feel that we need to get some SERIOUS practice in before these servers even come out. We keep saying this but it really needs to get done. It seems to me like we are still struggling at times running together as a team. If you want to be considered for private matches, you must practice with us. No exceptions.
FEEL FREE TO RECRUIT
A second thought that I wanted to throw out there is about recruiting. We are always looking for good, loyal team players. If you see somebody on while you are playing that is a total beast, feel free to send them a message and ask them if they are interesting in joining a clan. PLEASE DO NOT TELL THEM THAT THEY ARE GUARANTEED A SPOT BECAUSE ALL RECRUITS HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE SAME "TRY OUT" PERIOD. The Captains have the final say but everyone's input is important.
Please feel free to post any comments that you might have. I want to hear what ALL members have to say to help us become stronger as a clan and kick some ass in the future. Thanks guys.
I will half to agree with what Andy said you know even if we are not having clan matches like we used to we are still a clan. I mean at sometimes we have just the same 7 or 8 guys that is not how it should be and we have 20+ members i understand its hard for us all to be on all at the same time but at least if you feel like your not going to play with us for a little while send one of us a message. We are not hard people to get along with. Also we have some members that know some great players that should be mentioned to about joining us. They just need to add one of the captains as a friend as we shall go from there. Me and a few others were online last nite laste and see a guy that was playing well and talking so we invited him to the party and started talking its not that hard. I mean if the person is weird or a dick then we all should know the secert word to get them out of the party. I believe that is all i half to say. ShadowMosez Out
ReplyDeleteYes, unfortunatley things have been very slow. While the lack of Private servers, and the holiday season has affected this I'm sure, things have still been perhaps to quite.
ReplyDeleteThere have been several AMG members that still play together on a regular basis, and a couple that despite not being able to join in for one reason or another still stay in touch often. I would like to say Thank You to those dedicated individuals.
When Private Servers finally arrive (I have been Tebowing for this for a while now), we do need to really crank down on some quick practice sessions. Those who have stayed with us during this quite time will of course not be forgotten when the time comes to start gearing up for competition.
Recruiting has been extremely difficult also because of the lack of private servers, but once again when this changes....Look for Mature, skilled, team oriented, dedicated players.
Battlefield 3 shows that team work is key. Being a lone wolf may gain you points, but will not win matches.

I do have to say that we need to help eachother more as we dont seem to pass playing tips on to eachother. That should be included in training. I remember in bc2 when no bugger ran the engineer kit and I was showing tips what to do with the kit and I aint no soooper dooper star lol.
For feck sake, Shadow is way up there on the ranking, he has something in him with this game. I want all of us to find that something. If it means certain weapon, then help the clan mate get that certain weapon, I dunno how exactly but its a way of getting the right gel in the clan.

I agree, I myself has not been able to play that much lately due to the mic problems that occurred.
ReplyDeleteBut now it is fixed and I am ready to be more active on Battlefield 3. The thing with playing as a team is very important. Communication is key. ie: when your in a tank and you want to repair your driver, tell him or he will probably run you over. also, if you have a sniper in your team tell him to scan for incoming enemies and alert you from danger. This can be crucial to the teams armor. Also, make sure to tell your squad leader when you are trying to spawn on him.
maybe this could help with team work =P

I agree with all of it not just HALF. Lol. It feels as if AMG has gotten alot smaller to me, we defo need to practice i dont know of any team in the world that plays together well without practice no matter what sport. As for recruiting we should try a recruitment night where we split into pairs and go into different games, rape face and then recruit randoms that are beasting with us. Well thats all i have to say.

ReplyDeleteOh, um. I agree with Mr. Turtle and understand what Johnny is saying. I noticed the reason we lost a lot of matches in BC2 was because some of us played classes we weren't used to. We're good at EVADING enemy armor but the only ones who i know that is a boss at destroying tanks is Johnny and Andy, and that's because they runs engineer all day, every day. Spongebob Shadowpants ranks up so fast because he uses weapons he kills efficiently with and he runs a medic class, which is by far the fastest ranking class in the WORLD for some reason. And I do pretty damn good by running support, "yeah yeah you have a Famas and a F2000, i have C4, claymores, unlimited ammo and a big ass M60 that will kill you before you even have a chance to see me."
Basically, we dont always need a sniper unless we are facing a team of snipers, and even then, we only need one who is efficient with the weapon who knows the drops and range of a M98 or L96. Team running tanks? Us support teams and engineers can handle it. WATCH THE FUCKING BOXES!!!!!!!!!!!! And Medics...just...just sit on your little med-kits while the rest of us do the real work ;)
