What I have here is a short list comprised of observations and adjustments that need made for AMG to take on Clans in Battlefield 3.
- TEAM WORK. Now, more so than ever it is imperative that we use TOTAL team work. There will be little room for Lone-Wolf, or Runner and Gunner types. Its going to be a TOTAL TEAM EFFORT, like it or not. If we loose, no one will care if you went 39 and 4, especially if it didnt contribute to the goal.
- STRATEGY. While we had a basic fundamental concept of what to execute, in Battlefield 3 it seems to be that Brains will match Brawn. Once again, this will also rely heavily on TEAM WORK. So, the Captains will have to formulate and successfully communicate a Strategy. Which in turn we will expect for other team members to execute to the best of there ability.
- PATIENCE. We all must demonstrate patience on many levels. Before wego jumping into setting up matches, we must be leveled up to a degree of usefullness and skill. Also patience during the actual game. Once again, no room for Lone Wolf antics, so patience. Your squad and team mates will depend on it.
To further AMG and meet the intensified demands of Battle Field 3, I must become to a degree more stern and enforce rules that were already established. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, or ass, but I want AMG to be successful, and will do what I must to ensure that it remains a functioning team, and is successful.
Sincerely
AMG Mercury.
Yeah, you're definitely right. I was only able to play maybe a total of three or four hours the entire time, but the pace on BF3, if nothing else, is a lot faster then Bad Company 2. Running and gunning will get you no where faster then ever. Lol, sorry I'm the first to comment on here, I'm almost a little embarrassed, teehee. But I've been doing web design work on our website for almost nine hours now and I was adding your's as a link to ours and..well I started browsing.. Keep johnny in line, you know he's gonna need a slap or three up side the kevlar for this new title!
ReplyDeleteBlod you know that you and Johnny have a bro-mance going on. That's why you're on here all the time!! You don't have to try and make excuses anymore! LOL
ReplyDeleteOn a more serious note, BF3 is going to make us change how we run. I agree with all three points that Mercury made. We are going to have to run as a team now more than ever. We all have the basic knowledge of how we run, but we are going to need to step up in all areas: attacking, defending, and vehicles. First things first, we all need to play the game and get our classes ranked up enough so our weapons are useful BEFORE we even start to think about setting up any matches. Secondly, we all need to learn the maps forward and backwards. Both of these things can only be accomplished by playing the game. I wouldn't count on any serious matches until everyone has ranked up enough and we know the maps fairly well. We will be having a captain's meeting this week to finalize our plans and iron out any details about how AMG is going to approach this game.
In the beta i had about everything unlocked, except for support and recon. so I would suggest experimenting with the specs when the full game comes out, especially with those SQD spec that we will need to get together in full chemistry.
ReplyDeleteAlso, there is rumor that the gun damage will be lowered, so the run and gun lone wolf stuff will work better, not as well as running in teams, but you get my point =P.
Yo Blod, slap or three!!!! Flipping eck mate I need a good kicking for being BF3 ready. I had very ltd time on the beta and the time I played, I was dreadful. I gotta admit that I was always look for the areas where u shouldnt get to or the routes that no one noticed. Squading up will be the key for sure but I am flipping wild card. So Steeler better make sure I am in his squad coz the other dudes in officers mess will get rage fits if I am with them. Hey what can I say, I AM ROTTEN.
ReplyDeleteJohnny Rotten - AMG spud peeler
Oh and Steeler I did read your post, its just that me and Blod basicly dont like eachother. Its coz he knows I always get the upper edge on him on every map n that I got so many of his tags I could open a $1 store to sell them for two years with being open 24/7
ReplyDeleteRotten
Oh Blod - lmao
Johnny, have you ever heard a Penny Can? Well if you haven't, this is a great example of it. If we were playing Penny Can with dog tags, we could toss your can full of my dog tags clear over the English Channel and hit whatever Terrorist was hiding anywhere over the Union Borders! At your blasphemous claim that you had ANY of my dog tags I went to check, wondering if EA had suddenly started awarding people opponents dog tags for wearing pink yellow dotted dress's. To my relief, this has not started yet, and I gave up at the 1's column.
ReplyDeleteNow, if we were to throw my can as far as we could, it might make it half way over the channel, maybe even to the beaches of normandy, where it could live like a shrine with all the other Fallen Heroes, though obviously your tarnished little nickel plated trinkets would be embarrassed to be with such prestigious company. That's because MY CAN is weighed down from tossing almost TEN DOGTAGS from you into it. I am 5th on your list buddy! The only people ahead of me are your own clan members, and the tags I've collected up to this point I haven't even tried for, they've just fallen into my lap like virgins at a frat party!
Now steeler, you I have a much harder time putting down, not for lack of desire to do the deed, but for the scarcity of material at hand to use to besmirch that dirty little name of yours. Then again, if its any relation to the Team, I think you are made fun of enough during Football season, so I would hate to be the one to pile on and make a poor man cry, or worse, hang himself! Lol, so leave Johnny and I's "bro-mance" alone, cuz though you're jealous from all that bad press, you've still got to find your own friends and not latch onto johnny's, he's leech enough as it is, without you ;-)
And of course you like me johnny. Don't lie to the good ppl! And anytime you want the ass kicking, you just come right on over! We have a great place we can do it, it's called York town, ahh, what fond memories I hear breed there! ;-p
